The Rescue Team
General Catton - General Catton is the leader of the Rescue Team and is the "fire" element of the Rescue
Team's elemental properties.  The large, sumo-like character, is a pun of George Patton, famous World War II
tank general.  With the same "guts and glory" attitude, General Catton is hard spoken and displays a definate
"tough guy" personality.  Along with his words comes a pair of powreful cannons to back him up.  The large
cannons are mounted on the back and have a 90 degree firing arc.  One discrepancy about the big guy here is
that within the series, it shows his cannons firing two types of ammunition.  In his first appearance, his
cannons fire standard cannon balls but in a later episode, the cannons are firing a laser-like beam.  Does it
matter?  I suppose not, since they both can destroy anything in their path, but it's just another one of those
"things" that fans pick up on.

Spritz T. Cat - The most unique member of the Rescue Team is Spritz.  The "water" element of the Rescue
Team, Spritz needs a large body of water to place his tail in, suck up the liquid, and fire through his two arm
cannons.  The large water cannons are powerful enough to flood a street and sweep away any criminals that
get in the way.  Spritz is also one tough fella himself.  In a situation where he was captured, the only means of
escape was through the sewage system.  Being the guy that he is, he jumps right in, into the disease filled,
disgusting, sewage water.  Now that is being one tough guy!

Meowzma - Meowzma composes the "earth" element of the Rescue Team.  Meowzma's greatest quality is
his ability to drill the ground with his powerful tunneling suit.  The "buzz" saw blades concealed in his forearm
plating can also be used to slice the swords of hostile opponents.  Meowzma is also married!

Bat Cat - Bat Cat composes the "air" element of the Rescue Team and holds the most position as the only cat
who can fly.  Flight has always held an important part in history, and because of this, I think that Bat Cat is the
most important part of the team.  He can reach scenes faster than anyone, can swoop down and make a
rescue, and even knows thousands of nursery rhymes to defeat garrulous criminals (don't ask me to explain
        that one).
